BYC's Program
Structure
We run three sessions of our 5th-8th grade choir program throughout the school year. Each session will focus on building a positive community and fostering a love of singing and choral music. On a typical day, we will do some community-building exercises and develop vocal technique through warm-ups, ear training exercises, and learning literature.

We choose a wide range of literature encompassing many styles of music so that students can develop musical appreciation, expand their knowledge of music, and explore other cultures.

At the end of the session, we hold an evening concert at a performance venue open to the community!

Cost & Payment Options

Cost per student is $100 per session (Fall and Spring are 9 weeks; Winter is 8)

Additional once-a-year fee of $15 for a t-shirt to wear during performances (and any other time!)

Payment is due by the first day of the session

We accept cash, Venmo (@BYChoir), and checks (payable to Bellingham Youth Choir)
